LifeKids children's ministry
LifeKids cares for birth through 5th grade during all three Sunday services at New Life Community Church in Inwood, WV: 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
What happens in LifeKids on a Sunday?
Kids are grouped by age, taught a Bible story at their level, and sent home with a question their family can talk about at dinner. Every volunteer is background checked and every room is staffed by at least two adults.
Nursery
Birth - 2 years
Rocking, play and gentle care from screened volunteers.
Preschool
3 - 5 years
Bible stories, songs and games built for short attention spans.
Elementary
K - 5th grade
Large group teaching, small group discussion and take-home questions.
How does check-in work?
- Stop at the LifeKids check-in desk at the Welcome Center table in the lobby.
- Give your child's name, age and any allergies. First visit takes about three minutes.
- Take your claim tag; your child wears the matching name tag.
- A volunteer walks you to the room and introduces your child's leader.
- We text your phone during service if your child needs you.
